I am here to serve you.

Dear medical friends,
You will be a doctor.
I will be a doctor.
Soon,
sooner than we expect.
Time flies;
they will no longer call you by name.
You will be granted a calling of grace
A 'healer'.
"Hello doc."

Have we stopped to think
about what a 'healer' really means?
Do we know already
what a real healer does?

You may have realized
that to speak matter-of-factly,
we dedicate our service fully
not to the faith we believe in.

We give all our life's worth
to humanity,
to the well-being and peace of people
to recover souls and families
to heal the broken in spirit.

Doctors love all people, don't we?
We have to.
Have I?
Have you?
But how can we love other people
if we don't firstly love and embrace our own souls?
We make ourselves our enemy.
A colleague enemy.
We tend to make another our enemies.

But hold,
Whom is actually worth calling enemy?
That friend
who speaks behind your back
isn't your enemy.
That bartender
who got your order wrong on purpose
also isn't your enemy.
That stranger on the road
who incessantly honks at your car
isn't, too.

We sometimes forget
that there is a spectrum
of paradigm in our society
and we are created in diversity -
and we also forget
that there is no 'enemy'
except
those killing human rights,
and anyone in support of violence,
and those in favor
of suffering of the people.
Those 'enemies' need healing.

And that is where we come to help.
That is what pulls us apart
from other paramedics and health providers.
That is our job
to recover and restore
both the body and the soul,
both the transgressors and the transgressed.

To black and white,
to rich and poor,
to the educated and illiterate,
to religious and not,
to sane and troubled,
to the peaceful and broken.

I am Jesus' daughter
and therefore,
I will do likewise,
and I shall serve like Him.
Therefore it is to all nations
I dedicate my service to.

I will serve Him
in spirit and in truth
just so people will see
not from what I've done,
but from what they feel;
Through the healing they've received
and the joy they encounter,
people can really comprehend "blessing"
and they'll experience the feeling of "being blessed",
that heaven is really up there
and heaven is down here on earth, too.

I am here to serve You.
I am here to serve you.

Will you join me, too?
